Lionheart let out a groan of sorts as he woke up. However, he hushed himself when he remembered he was not alone. The indented patch of stone beneath him also encompassed his future mate, who lay beside him, fast asleep. “Senka,” he murmured his fawn-hood sweetheart's name. The black doe stirred at the sound of his voice, but remained asleep.
Amused, the buck let show a rare form of affection with a smile. His tongue grazed her ear lightly a few times in addition, before he pulled his head away and stood up. He stretched his legs like a cat, leaning forward and backward and snaking his tail over his top-line in a comical manner. The buck only ever did this when nobody was watching; his pride would be forever chipped if someone caught him acting like a feline.
